Lana is an experienced HR professional with a track record of working across international cultures and borders for multi-site national and international customer faced organisations, in the private, public and third sectors.
After relocating to the UK in 2000, Lana worked in a business partner capacity for UK and international market leading organisations, specialising in high quality products and the delivery of exceptional customer services. At Velux and CALA Group, Lana worked proactively and in partnership with the senior management team, overseeing business-wide people management improvements and initiatives, and ensuring that people management issues were at the heart of strategy formulation.
Prior to joining Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, Lana worked for Fife Council/Perth & Kinross Council, as a corporate HR Consultant for the Environment and Development and the Housing and Communities Directorates, leading both managing change projects and a complex Employee Relations caseload. Her role was to provide strategic and holistic operational advice and support, on a wide range of HR issues, to the Executive Directors, Service Management Teams and Line Managers within her Service, and to promote best HR practice within the Council.
From 2012, Lana has worked as a Human Resources Manager at Fife Sports and Leisure Trust. She is responsible for leadership of the Fife Sports and Leisure Trust’s HR function. Her role is to provide a business focused HR service, design and implementation of the HR Strategy, policy formulation, delivery of the Company’s improvement initiatives, and facilitation of the performance culture across the organisation.
