Peter joined Dunfermline Advocacy in 2015 as an Advocate and was teamed up with a Partner shortly after. Peter has been married for 46 years and has three sons and two grandchildren. He studied Chemistry and gained an LRIC in 1972. Peter has worked in Zambia, Iran, South Africa and Poland altogether totalling over 24 years abroad. In South Africa he was in a managerial position, being responsible for five refractory plants and about 400 employees. Whilst in South Africa Peter spent time mentoring young black South African graduates, helping them find their feet in the world of heavy industry – this was very rewarding! By joining the Board of Trustees Peter hopes to extend his involvement in Advocacy in general whilst continuing his commitment to an organisation he enjoys volunteering for!
