Gemma joined Dunfermline Advocacy in the Summer of 2018.
After completing an MSc in Analysis and Intervention in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in 2008, she has gained experience of working with people with learning disabilities and autism in a variety of roles. This has been primarily with children and young people, and their families, within schools, as an independent travel trainer and on a behaviour support project. Gemma is committed to working in a person-centred way to increase skills, as well as promoting choice and control for vulnerable people. Gemma worked in the Young People’s Project which ended in December 2019. Gemma now works for our Friendship Changing Lives Project.
