Today, we celebrate the power of compassion and community. đź’™

At Dunfermline Advocacy, we’re proud to have been a registered charity since June 1993, working tirelessly to support and empower individuals through citizen advocacy. For over 30 years, we’ve been building trusting relationships, amplifying voices, and promoting inclusion across West Fife.

Thank you to our advocates, partners, supporters, funders and of course our staff team who make this journey possible. Here’s to continuing our mission of making a difference—one person at a time.

If you want to help a passionate and committed local charity then please continue reading.

There are many ways you can support us, these are just a few:

Make a Donation

As a voluntary, non-profit organisation we rely on funding from a range of sources to make a difference to vulnerable people in West Fife. Every donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and allows us to continue the work we do on a day to day basis.

You can make a donation to support our work using the following link to our donation platform BOPP Donation Link

Become an Advocate

Citizen Advocates aim to build lasting meaningful connections and mutually beneficial relationships with our advocacy partners. For many people their Citizen Advocate is the only person not paid to be in their life and here the impact of having a friend cannot be overstated. Can you spare some time to get involved and become an Advocate? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Join Our Board of Trustees

All members of our Board of Trustees are local people who are able to support us by giving their time to support the governance of the organisation. Our Board includes people who are Citizen Advocates and Advocacy Partners, but this is not essential.  All new Board members receive an Induction Programme which includes attending the Advocate Preparation Course.

Leave Us a Legacy

Leaving a gift in your will can be as simple as adding a paragraph to your existing will. We always recommend using a solicitor when making or updating your will. We can provide suggested legacy clauses to help you , whether you plan to leave a residuary, pecuniary or specific legacy, contact us for more information.
