Secretary

Stella has worked in higher education throughout her career, mainly in the areas of lifelong learning and widening participation. She has a strong commitment to providing ‘second chance’ educational opportunities for non-traditional learners, and those who have been excluded from education for a variety of reasons.

She is now semi-retired, and while she continues to work part-time as a university administrator, she also really enjoys her voluntary role supporting adult literacies learning.

Stella believes that her experience aligns well with the principles and values of Dunfermline Advocacy, and that the skills she has gained throughout her career will enable her to make a useful contribution to the Organisation. She was delighted to join the Board of Trustees in June 2023.
